Have you gotten a copy of our new CD,"Scratchy"? Yes sir, it is a good one and you are going to love it! Mostly originally material, with a few classic covers from Merle Haggard, Doobie Brothers, and yes even the Neville Brothers..... you are going to want one for your music collection. The response has extremely good, getting airplay on the radio, positive reviews, and they are moving pretty quick. We are thankful for the positive feedback and support we have gotten so far.

Hard to believe, but we are in the month of August already, summer has flown by. This summer has been the most successful for the band. Not only have we played some wonderful festivals, our music has been well received everywhere we have gone. Have sold allot of CDs and T-shirts, met lots of new folks, and have generally had
a blast! Our thanks to all of you for making this summer one to remember.

Our thanks to the folks at Across the way Productions for allowing us to be part of their festival line up again this year. You guys are the greatest!

Well, what's next?

August has been a month of rest and relaxation so far, not much happening with the band . We will be playing at All Sports Cafe on August 21. Always a good atmosphere, we look forward to each time we get to play there. Good food, beverages, and service make it the place to be in downtown Salem. Last month when we played the evening turned into a pretty good party for a Thursday night with a big turn out. Looking forward to another large time this month. Also in August, we will be playing at 202 Market in downtown Roanoke on Sunday, August 24. It will be a benefit show with several area bands to help out fellow musician Robbie Wells who has been diagnosed with cancer.
Robbie, being a self employed musician, does not have any health insurance. So help us help Robbie! Come on out for a Sunday afternoon in Downtown Roanoke. Looking ahead to September, we will be back at the Blues BBQ on the 5th.. and Sept.18 at Awful Arthur's in Salem, VA
